At Round Hill Studio, we are committed to keeping our staff and patrons safe as the COVID-19 situation escalates, so we have made the decision to temporarily close our retail gallery in Annapolis Royal Nova Scotia.

Fortunately, we are busy fulfilling on-line orders as our FREE shipping program has been helping our patrons meet their art needs.

And even more good news: we will be extending free delivery and shipping through our online store until the end of April.

Given that our mandate is to share the work of artists from the maritimes and beyond, we are working hard to figure out how we can continue to fulfill our purpose under the safest terms possible. We will be working with our artists, business partners and technology to keep bringing you art!

Meanwhile, the Round Hill Studio crew (Jaime Lee, James, Linda and Connie) have been keeping busy creating art while we have been under isolation. Art is a great way to pass the time and help keep your hands and mind busy during these uncertain times. To encourage others to use art in their daily lives, we have created a Facebook Group called: Create Every Day. There is no obligation to create or have previous art experience. Create Every Day Facebook group is a venue to share and get encouragement and support from other folks who are also looking for a way to get inspired to be creative.

Before we sign off, we just want to let you know that feeling stressed during this time is normal. Isolating creates a feeling of disconnection with others and can lead to anxiety, and depression. To combat some of the isolation blues, make sure that you keep doing healthy things to keep you mind and body well. Call a friend or family member, go for a walk, rest and drink lots of water.
