Sculptor Borge Jorgensen

New addition to the Gallery! Borge Jorgensen, a Dane, came to Canada more than fifty years ago, and has lived and worked in both the expanses of Northern Ontario and more recently the confines of Toronto. His art, both sculptural and painted, is never less than engaging with a witty tone that offers deeper, perhaps darker notes on longer acquaintance. His work exhibits the effects of a European sensibility in contact with this land; it is always instantly recognizable. He is of no School: he is Borge.
