April Workshops


Expressive Self Portrait April 8/10am-3pm. In a mutually supportive group setting, participants will create expressive self-portraits. The art created in this workshop will be exhibited and put on sale at the Round Hill Studio gallery for the month of May under the exhibit title “Our Community”. Proceeds of the art sales will be split with the artists/mental health non-profit 50/50. Teens and adults are encouraged to attend.

Facilitator: Jaime Lee Lightle, B.A, Certified Human Resource Professional, currently student at Toronto Art Therapy Institute, Curator/owner Round Hill Studio.

This is one of a series of workshops focused on the therapeutic value of art. Supported by Awesome Annapolis. This workshop is FREE; however, donations are welcome. No art experience is necessary. All art supplies will be provided.

This workshop will take place at ARTsPLACE, home of the Annapolis Region Community Arts Council (ARCAC).

Paint Fort Anne April 23/10am-3pm. In celebration of 100 years of Fort Anne’s National Historic Site designation, we will be hosing an all ages workshop. Participants will create their own painting of Fort Anne.

A mini exhibit of the art will be put on display from April 25-29. No prior art experience necessary and all supplies will be included.

A catered lunch by Fort Anne Cafe will be provided at no additional cost.
